A short while ago, I had the occasion to traverse Osaka, the initial assignment location of my colleague and the workplace of my sibling. Beyond 22:00, the environs around Dojima and Nakanoshima, where my colleague was stationed, bore a desolate atmosphere, with a chilling hint that suggested an impending snowstorm.
As I passed through Okayama, I couldn’t escape the biting cold wind prevalent in this region as well. Reflecting on conversations with my colleague, who shared a familial connection to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, I recalled how Okayama has been a fertile ground for producing the top official within the same ministry.
Let us douse those who engage in perilous actions with a metaphorical cold iced shower. And may a gentle winter bestow true warmth upon those individuals truly in need of it.
