Sannenzaka Correspondence

Editors’ Diary 28/07/2023

Even in the late hours of the night, the University of Tokyo’s Hongo campus remains bustling with activity. Notably, it is not only graduate students but also undergraduates who are present. Among them, the Faculty of Econ. seems to have a considerable representation. While their demeanor may come across as reserved, I believe that each and every “one” of these students holds the potential to be agents of change in our future era. Identifying the number of individuals who aspire to undertake such transformative challenges would be a valuable piece of information. In exploring this aspect, there exists potential for journalism as well. Unlike places where a backward attitude prevails, mistreating on-campus news reporters, I find the sophisticated atmosphere here distinctly different and completely enlightened.
