One of the facilities at the University of Tokyo that has been extremely incredibly helpful is the General library, which remains open until late at night. Faculty and students can rent soundproof booths, meeting rooms, and private offices. Of course, university computers are also available for borrowing. Similarly, in the Akamon Research Site, there is the convenience of having a SMBC ATM available for use until late at night.
The coursework at UNITAR progressed through a sophisticated and practical “triad” of conflict analysis, diplomatic resolution, and media strategy. However, expressing our views necessitated careful consideration of Japan’s political circumstances. We examined not only Russia and Ukraine but also delved into the intricacies of Georgia and South Ossetia, Central Africa, Sudan, and the West Bank.
