Masahiko Nakamura (中村昌彦), the Collection Department Director of Fukuoka National Taxation Bureau, became a suspect of the Fukuoka Prefectural Police on June 16th. It was discovered that he unlawfully opened a sealed letter addressed to Gento Nakamura and forged his signature and official documents, which he then used against American Express. The fact of forgery came to light on June 9th, and Gento Nakamura had consulted both the Tokyo and Fukuoka police regarding the matter. At the stage of the consultation on same day, Masahiko admitted to the allegations. Misako Nakamura (中村美佐子), the wife of Masahiko and a director at Muju Co., Ltd., is also under investigation on suspicion of assault.
